Who we are

Pannl ("we", "us", "our") is a meeting room display service operated by Robert Banks. Our website is pannl.app.

What data we collect

• Account information — your name and email address, provided when you sign in with Google.
• Organisation details — your company name and email domain, used to group users and devices.
• Calendar data — meeting room names, calendar event titles, times, and organiser emails, fetched from Google Workspace via a service account your admin authorises. We do not access personal calendars.
• Device information — a unique device identifier and pairing status for each iPad running the Pannl app.
• Billing information — payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID but never see or store card numbers.

How we use your data

• To display meeting room status on your paired iPads.
• To sync calendar events from your Google Workspace so room displays stay up to date.
• To manage your account, team members, and devices.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To send transactional emails such as team invitations. We do not send marketing emails.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS) and served via Vercel. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Calendar data is fetched on demand and cached temporarily to keep displays current — it is not permanently stored beyond what is needed to show upcoming meetings.

Third-party services

• Google Workspace APIs — to read calendar resources and events under your admin's authorisation.
• Supabase — database, authentication, and real-time updates.
• Vercel — hosting and serverless functions.
• Stripe — payment processing.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other third parties.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to remove your data, we will delete it within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only — to keep you signed in and maintain your session. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us at hello@pannl.app.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We will not materially reduce your rights without notifying you.
